Basically, HEALeRs (Helfpul, Engaging Additional Learning e-Resources) are just any / all non-MAGE tools that I’ve developed and shared with the world. Please feel free to email me with any comments / suggestions, etc. My HEALeRs are provided in alphabetical order below. Enjoy!
Deletreo – This is a Spanish spelling game I built for my son at his request when he started taking Spanish in High School. The he lost interest. If there is sufficient interest from any of you, I would be happy to continue developing this tool.
Demonstratives – This is a quick little tool where you can have students provide sentences based on the number, gender, and distance from the speaker of the randomly selected item.
Pasapalabras – This was created at the request of a local High School Spanish teacher. It is based on the popular gameshow Password. It takes a little prep time to enter in the data, but then you can play this classic game with your class.
Risky World – Definitely my most popular HEALeR to date. This is a fun way to play a review game with your class. Have them answer questions in order to take over the world! (If they answer hard questions, they can steal each others countries!)
Spanish Trivia – This is a popular HEALeR with our Spanish Club. We usually play it once a semester. It has several hundred trivia questions. Please feel free to suggest more!
Spelling – This is a fun way to practice your spelling of the most common words in the English language.
